PM Kobakhidze attends 8th EPC Summit [Photo]

Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, is participating in the 8th Summit of the European Political Community (EPC).

The summit is being hosted in Yerevan by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.

The Georgian Prime Minister will address European leaders today during a roundtable discussion centred on strengthening connectivity and economic security.

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, the summit will also serve as an opportunity for bilateral meetings, and he will emphasise Georgia’s unique role in Europe’s connectivity in his speech.

“We connect seven countries to the Black Sea and, consequently, to the West through our economy and trade. Naturally, this will be a key focus of our discussions. Georgia plays a vital role in Europe in enhancing connectivity,” he stated.

The Prime Minister took part in the summit’s plenary session, which was opened by the host nation’s Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, alongside the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa.
