PM Kobakhidze affirms Georgia’s steadfast commitment to partnership with China
“Georgia remains firmly committed to our partnership with China,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze declared during his speech at the opening ceremony of the China International Import Expo.
According to the Prime Minister, Georgia aims to enhance its business-friendly environment, attract additional investment, and deepen collaboration across a broad spectrum of sectors.
“Alongside our strong economic foundations, Georgia’s ambitious infrastructure projects, including the Anaklia Deep Sea Port, the East-West Highway, the Black Sea Submarine Cable, the Tbilisi International Airport Project, and the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway, are transforming the country into a vital trade and transport corridor between China and Europe. These initiatives are strengthening regional connectivity and fostering increased economic cooperation.
Georgia remains steadfast in its partnership with China. We look forward to further improving our business environment, attracting more investment, and deepening cooperation across many sectors,” the Prime Minister concluded.
