PM Irakli Kobakhidze extends condolences to families affected by Spain’s tragic train collision

Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the recent train accident in Spain.

The head of government shared his sentiments via the social media platform X, stating:

“I extend my sincere condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic train accident in Spain. Our thoughts are with the injured and with the Spanish people at this difficult time.”

According to the latest reports, the devastating incident in southern Spain, near Córdoba, has resulted in 39 fatalities and at least 170 injuries. The collision involved two high-speed trains, one travelling from Málaga to Madrid with approximately 300 passengers, and the other heading in the opposite direction from Madrid to Huelva. The trains derailed and collided, causing widespread tragedy.
