PM: If certain prisoners express regret, we will respond appropriately; regret and repentance are fundamentally important
“If certain prisoners express regret for the crimes they have committed, we will respond appropriately,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.
He emphasised that repentance holds fundamental importance.
“Here is a straightforward approach: if specific prisoners show remorse for their actions, of course, we will respond accordingly. But, naturally, regret and repentance are essential principles. That is our clear stance,” Kobakhidze stated.
