PM: Gakharia plans to run in local elections, but fears bullying from other parties
“We have information that at the end of the month, Giorgi Gakharia intends to announce that he will participate in the local elections and is afraid of bullying from other parties,” the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.
According to Kobakhidze, the radical opposition is destined for failure.
“These kinds of statements serve a specific purpose. We’re not concerned about whether they participate or not. Regardless, the entire radical opposition is doomed to fail. We will win both the mayoral and city council elections in all 64 municipalities,” he said.
For Georgia party published a post on its Facebook page stating: “A question to the parties, “Akhali”, “Natsi”, “Lelo”, which refuse to participate in the elections, what is your plan after the boycott?”
