Georgian Prime Minister discussed speeding up the state property privatization plan together with the governmental economic team.

During a meeting at the Governmental Administration, PM underlined that privatization of the state-owned enterprises would contribute to the quick economic restoration, creation of jobs, and investment attraction.

A workgroup headed by Finance Minister is charged to align the state-owned enterprise management with higher corporate standards.

A total of 116 state-owned units were sold in 2020 within the Hundred Investment Proposals to Business project.
