PM appoints Platon Kalmakhelidze as Kakheti Regional State Envoy

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze appointed Platon Kalmakhelidze as Kakheti Regional State Envoy.

The PM met the newly-appointed state envoy at the Government Administration on Wednesday and wished him success in his future endeavours.

The meeting focused on ongoing and future projects in the region.

Platon Kalmakhelidze has experience working in the public and private sectors. He previously served as the first deputy state envoy of Kakheti Region. He was elected Mayor of Telavi in 2014.
