Philosopher Zaza Shatirisvili: EU has lost fundamental values that brought about flourishing of Europe itself

“Today, the European Union has lost those fundamental values of paramount importance which brought about the flourishing of this union and Europe as a whole. Moreover, the European unity formed on the foundation of these fundamental values is collapsing, because the ideology based on Christian humanity has been replaced by an ideology founded on LGBT propaganda,” writes philosopher Zaza Shatirisvili on social media.

According to him, “This is why the European Parliament, the European Commission, and the European Union are demanding almost unanimously that Georgia and similar traditional countries withdraw any legislation relating to the protection of minors from harmful influences and the preservation of family values.”

“The vast majority of the civilised world has long grown accustomed to the fact that Western liberalism, which was once associated with freedom years ago, has over time changed its face and nature to such an extent that it has become almost the antithesis of its own essence. As evidence of this, leaving aside recent years’ trends, even recent incidents will suffice.

For example, just a few days ago, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, a member of the European Union, distinguished himself with criticism of Western liberalism, speaking publicly about the unpleasant truth that no one wants to hear. Viktor Orbán essentially voiced what millions of Europeans have been thinking when he declared that in Western Europe, particularly in Germany, people risk their jobs if they openly express their views on gender ideology or mass migration issues. In other words, if you say you support traditional family, or if you oppose mass migration, you’ll lose your job. What’s more, putting criticism aside, if you express doubts about LGBT ideology, which is considered homophobia and discrimination, you’ll most likely find yourself behind bars with the help of German police efforts, and for quite a considerable time at that.

This corrupt, new aspect of Western liberalism, which is associated with imposing restrictions and oppression on people instead of freedom, has become something of a standard in many countries of the European Union, a standard which they openly demand to be upheld not only by members of this union, but also by membership candidates. How can we not recall here the political scandal of just a few days ago, when Sweden’s Prime Minister openly declared that for Ukraine to join the European Union, it must regulate the issue of same-sex marriage, thereby effectively demanding the legalisation of the LGBT community.

To put it more simply, Sweden’s Prime Minister told Ukraine’s government, if you don’t allow same-sex marriages, you’ve got no business in the European Union. Anyone without problems of reasoning and memory can easily draw parallels with Georgia and will also remember that, like Ukraine, allowing same-sex marriages was one of the main demands that both Eurobureaucrats, including Germany mentioned by Viktor Orbán, as well as the former U.S. President’s administration, namely the Democrats, have been demanding from Georgia directly or indirectly for a long time.

You’ll also recall that one of their main demands of the Georgian Dream government was the repeal of the Family Values and Protection of Minors law, which is the main precondition for subsequently demanding the legalisation of same-sex marriages, as well as the adoption of laws that favour the LGBT community, as they have adopted in Germany and other EU member states.

For those who don’t believe this is the case, let me remind you of our recent past, when everything started so simply; the Eurobureaucracy initially only demanded that representatives of the LGBT community be allowed to hold a small rally in Georgia, in Tbilisi, in the city centre, for a short time. What harm could possibly come from this?! And anyone who agrees that harm does indeed come from this, and very much so, will be anyone who has seen with their own eyes the sexually explicit gatherings of the LGBT community in European cities, for example, in Barcelona, practically orgies, which not infrequently take place with the attendance of minors.

The overall result of all this is that today the European Union has lost those fundamental values of paramount importance which brought about the flourishing of this union and Europe as a whole. Moreover, the European unity formed on the foundation of these fundamental values is collapsing, because the ideology based on Christian humanity has been replaced by an ideology founded on LGBT propaganda. This is precisely why the European Parliament, the European Commission, and the European Union are demanding almost unanimously that Georgia and similar traditional countries withdraw any legislation relating to the protection of minors from harmful influences and the preservation of family values.

This raises a logical question, which also has a logical, simple answer: What does all this serve? What is the ultimate goal of all this? The ultimate goal of all this is for Georgia to morally and ideologically descend to the level of EU member countries, where you might lose your job or even be arrested for having different, traditional views about gender or family values.

The result of this will be a geometric progression in the growth of LGBT community members, mainly at the expense of young people, of course. And one more question: But why do they need all this, those who stand behind all this? Of course, so that we lose our homeland, reject our history and identity, and ultimately reach the point where we can no longer distinguish who is a woman and who is a man. Naturally, this type of people, this type of society, is the most worthless and easiest to control that history has ever known. Even though behind the spread of pseudo-liberal ideology stands the Deep State, the same informal oligarchic governance, we must, at any cost, continue to protect our country and society from ideological assault,” writes Shatirisvili.
