Person detained in relation to special operation faces from 10 to 17 in prison

The detainee, arrested as a result of special operation at Monk Gabriel Salosi Street in Tbilisi, is facing from 10 to 17 years of imprisonment.

According to the Georgian Prosecutor’s Office, detainee S.D. has been charged under the articles 328, referring to “Joining a foreign terrorist organisation or a terrorist organisation controlled by a foreign state or supporting this organisation in terrorist activities” and 3231 of Criminal Code, referring to “Unlawful purchase, storage, carrying, manufacturing, transportation, transfer, sale or use of firearms, ammunition, explosives or equipment for terrorist purposes”.

The detainee faces from 10 to 17 years of imprisonment.

The special operation was carried out at Monk Gabriel Salosi Street in Tbilisi yesterday.
