According to the demonstrators, the Canadian government has started working on the draft law on agents. According to those gathered at the Canadian visa centre, they are ready to protect Canadian democracy.
“Today, we came to the Canadian visa centre in the form of a performance rally – “No to Russian law in Canada.” We will not let the Russification of Canada and we, the defenders of democracy, will protect Canadian democracy as well”, said Giorgi Tskrialashvili, one of the rally participants.
According to Giorgi Papidze, another demonstrator, he calls on the Canadian government to withdraw the bill.
“The Canadian government has started working on the agents’ bill. We, the Georgian youth, stand next to the Canadian youth and protest against the Russian law in Canada. We call on the Canadian government to withdraw the agents’ bill. Our youth calls for “No to Russian law in Canada.” Georgian youths will not allow Canada to become Russia’s backyard”, said Giorgi Papidze.
