Patriarch sends food, clothing, medicines to heavy snowfall-affected population
By the decision of Georgian Patriarch Ilia II, food products, clothing, medicines, and warm blankets will be sent to the population affected by the heavy snowfall.
The Patriarchate on Wednesday said “The heavy snowfall in western Georgia has brought severe consequences for our people and the country in general. Unfortunately, there are casualties as well. The government, rescue services, and volunteers – everyone is trying to assist those caught in the disaster zone. “
