Parliament Speaker: Voice of every voter should be heard in parliament

Voice of every voter should be heard in the parliament, said Kakha Kuchava, Georgian Parliament Speaker, after the meeting with David McAllister, Chair of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee.

According to Kuchava, European partners call on all elected lawmakers for taking up MP mandates and performing their assumed duties. This means participation of 150 MPs in the parliamentary work.

“Georgia needs the parliament that will work fully to implement its ambitious plans. The voice of each voter must be heard in the parliament and this means the participation of 150 lawmakers in this process. I hope we will achieve this soon and the Georgian people, our partners will see the filled 150 seats in the parliament,” Kuchava claimed.

Georgian Parliament Speaker met Chair of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee David McAllister within the framework of his visit to Brussels earlier on Tuesday.
