Parliament Speaker to deliver annual parliamentary report in next sessional week
The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, will deliver the annual report on parliamentary activities during the upcoming sessional week.
“It was initially announced that the discussion of the annual report on parliamentary activities would take place today. However, due to the visit of the Prime Minister of Armenia to Georgia and the fact that members of the government are engaged in a government commission meeting, the discussion will be postponed to the next sessional week,” stated Papuashvili during today’s session of the Parliamentary Bureau.
According to the Rules of Procedure of the Georgian Parliament, the annual report on parliamentary activities is to be discussed in accordance with the procedure established for the consideration of a draft law at the first reading.
