Parliament Speaker on EP: Mikheil Saakashvili’s supporters should not lecture us on values, rules or laws

“As for the European Parliament, Mikheil Saakashvili’s supporters should not lecture us on any values, rules, or laws. These are Mikheil Saakashvili’s supporters, and that says it all,” said the Chairman of Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili.

When asked whether the visa-free regime might be reviewed and whether the Georgian Dream party feels responsible for this, the Chairman replied: “Understandably, Mikheil Saakashvili’s supporters will threaten the Georgian people with various means; nothing is surprising in that.”
