Parliament Speaker, NATO Deputy Secretary-General, meet in Brussels

“More NATO in Georgia was the main topic for discussions,” said Kakha Kuchava, Georgian Parliament Speaker, after the meeting with Dan Mircea Geoană, Deputy Secretary-General of NATO.

During the meeting held on Wednesday, the sides touched upon Georgia-NATO cooperation deepening prospects and the alliance’s open-door policy.

“We ask for membership, be it through the MAP or without MAP. It is important to reach this goal as soon as possible,” Parliament Speaker told journalists.
