Speaker of Georgian Parliament, Kakha Kuchava, met with the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.
The sides discussed the friendship and strategic partnership between Georgia and Ukraine.
“The representatives of the parliamentary majority and the opposition attended the meeting. It stressed the importance of further strengthening relations between the legislatures of the two countries.
The sides discussed the progress made in the NATO integration process and noted that NATO membership is one of the main priorities of the two countries foreign and security policies”, the Press Service of the Parliament reported.
The meeting focused on developments along the Ukrainian borders and in the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Prime Minister invited Kakha Kuchava to visit Ukraine.
