Parliament Speaker meets Indian Foreign Minister

Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili met the Foreign Minister of India, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.

According to the Parliament of Georgia, international and regional geopolitical challenges, trade and investment issues and prospects to further develop bilateral relations between Georgia and India were reviewed during the meeting.

The Speaker familiarized the Indian Foreign Minister with the prospects of the Middle Corridor project.

The delegation, led by Shalva Papuashvili, comprises Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, Shota Berekashvili, Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee, Vasil Chigogidze, Head of the Friendship Group with India, and Genrieta Tsitsava, Deputy Chair of the Georgian Dream faction.
