Parliament Speaker decries violence, urges citizens to adhere to state interests
Parliament Speaker Kakha Kuchava decried the attack on reporters and media in general.
“Violence is unaccaptabe. The state will maintain order and ensure peace,” the Speaker underscored.
“I want to respond to the current processes and call on everyone to think and act in the interests of the state. Violence is not allowed. I especially condemn the violence against journalists and media representatives in general. It is unacceptable! My support to the police, who, at the cost of their health, work tirelessly to protect the Constitutional rights of citizens and prevent acts of violence. The state will maintain state order and ensure peace! I call on everyone not to allow violence,” Kuchava said.
