Parliament keeps yellow security level on April 16 amid tensions over Transparency bill

The Georgian parliament will keep the yellow security level on April 16 based on the September 4, 2023, decree of Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili.

Visitors will be restricted from entering the supreme legislative body. Invited persons and accredited journalists of TV stations will be permitted to attend the committee sittings.

“The imposed measures aim to ensure a peaceful and work environment in the parliament,” the Georgian parliament said.
