Parliament expands mandate of Temporary Investigative Commission

The mandate of the parliamentary temporary investigative commission, which is studying the activities of the 2003-2012 government and its officials, has been expanded.

During today’s plenary session, the lawmakers voted on a draft resolution that outlines the commission’s investigative focus as “the activities of the regime in power from 2003 to 2012, as well as the political officials of that regime and current and former officials of political parties from 2003 to the present.”
