Parliament elects CEC members

Georgian parliament elected four members of the Central Election Commission (CEC) at the plenary sitting.

Giorgi Dzagania, Giorgi Tchikaberidze, and Dimitri Javakhadze received 83 votes, while Giorgi Javakhishvili – 84.

Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili announced that the Central Election Commission (CEC) is now fully staffed with professional members following the election of the four remaining candidates.
