Parliament approved Grigol Liluashvili as head of State Security Service 

The candidacy of Grigol Liluashvili, nominated by the Government of Georgia for the position of the Head of the State Security Service of Georgia, has been approved by the Parliament through secret balloting. Voting took place without reviewing the candidacy at the plenary session.

Grigol Liluashvili was supported by 85 MPs, eight voted against.

New Head of the State Security Service is appointed for six years term.
