Panorama Funicular, which allows visitors to enjoy panoramic views, has launched operation in Bakuriani winter resort of Georgia.

According to the Mountain Trails Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, ropeways operate at all three skiing areas -Didveli, Kokhta and Mitarbi. A toboggan offers additional activity to visitors.

Twelve ski runs operate in Bakuriani, and the total length of the ski runs is 36 kilometers. The resort is almost completely covered by a modern artificial snowmaking system. The season opened on December 20.

Ski Patrol, which ensures the security of visitors, is on duty at all winter resorts – Bakuriani, Gudauri, Mestia and Goderdzi. A comprehensive inspection of the infrastructure was carried out at all resorts, the equipment is in order, and the personnel have undergone appropriate training, the Ministry of Economy said.
