Over 5,6 mln int'l travellers visited Georgia in January-September 2023

In January-September of 2023, 5,566,980 international visitors came to Georgia, recording a rise of 43% compared to 2022 and a 76.9% recovery of the pre-pandemic data, based on the statistics published by the National Tourism Administration.

A total of 3,655,576 foreign tourists visited the country in January-September 2023, up 35.2% from 2022 and a 91.6% recovery from the 2019 data.

The number of international visitors and tourist trips is estimated using a methodology developed under World Tourism Organization recommendations, including already completed visits.
