Out of three new cases of coronavirus, one is imported from Spain

Out of three new cases of novel coronavirus confirmed in Georgia, one is imported from Spain – Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases said.

According to Ezugbaia, 21 tests were conducted on coronavirus on March 20 and one came back with positive result. The person, who tested positive, was in self-isolation.

Georgia confirmed three new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) bringing the total number of the infected individuals to 47 – reads the information posted on the special web page stopcov.ge created by the government of Georgia.

According to the latest data, 1966 remain under quarantine, while 251 under hospital supervision. Only one patient recovered from the virus.
