The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly reported on the meeting held between the Georgian delegation and Pia Kauma, President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, within the framework of the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).

According to the statement posted on the X Platform, the Georgina parliamentary delegation members and the OSCE PA President engaged in discussions on the implementation of OSCE/ODIHR recommendations following last year’s elections.

“On the margins of the IPU parliament assembly in Tashkent, President Pia Kauma met with Georgian parliament Chair Shalva Papuashvili and Head of the delegation to the PA Nikolaz Samkharadze. Discussions focused on the implementation of OSCE/ODIHR recommendations following last year’s elections,” it said.

The 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) takes place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on 5-9 April 2025.
