Opposition says PEC members election held in a way that is not allowed by law

The opposition members have demanded to attend today’s meeting at Mtatsminda District Election Commission.

Guram Chalagashvili, a member of the Victorious Georgia party, Tina Bokuchava, one of the leaders of the United National Movement, as well as Anzor Bitsadze, a member of the United Georgia party were not allowed to enter the building as they did not obtain relevant accreditation.

According to the opposition members, “the election of Precinct Election Commission (PEC) members is being held in a way that is not allowed by law. The election list includes the ruling team supporters — school and kindergarten teachers.”
