One of the miners recalls the details of the Tkibuli incident

Dimitri Kumsishvili, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development visited injured miner at the hospital.

Injured miners spoke about the details of the incident.

As he remembers, the hitting wave was so strong that it threw him 15-17 meters away from the scene.

Six died as a result of fatal accident in Mindeli mine, while three others were injured. Fatal incident took place in Tkibuli, Imereti region.

An investigation has been launched under the second part of the Article #240 of Criminal Code of Georgia, pertaining to the violation of safety rules.
