Occupied Abkhazia reports 69 new coronavirus cases, one death

Russian-occupied Abkhazia region of Georgia has reported 69 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) today.

According to the so-called Health Ministry of Abkhazia, 209 people were tested in the past 24 hours.

Currently, 139 COVID-19 patients continue medical treatment at Gudauta District Hospital. The health condition of 18 patients remains critical.

The patient, who died today, was a 60-year-old lady, who was placed in hospital on October 1.

In total, occupied Abkhazia’s coronavirus cases reached 1 659. The number of recovered patients stands at 602. The virus-related death toll is 13.
