Number of emigrants from Georgia amounted to almost 100 thousand persons

The number of emigrants from Georgia was 98 935 in 2018, 15.8 percent more compared to the previous year.

According to the National Statistics Bureau of Georgia, the number of immigrants increased by 5.9 percent and amounted to 88 152 people.

In the same period, 86.6 percent of emigrants and 84.5 percent of immigrants represent the population aged 15-64.
