The number of employees of the new president’s administration will be reduced by about 60%.

According to the final draft budget of 2019, the number of people working in the presidential administration will be reduced to 60. Currently, 140 people are working in the administration.

Funding for the new president’s administration has been reduced by almost GEL 4 million, while the presidential reserve fund is likely to be abolished.

According to the final draft budget 2019, the budget of the presidential administration will be GEL 6 million, whereas the budget of the presidential administration was GEL 9,800,000, like in 2018, in the initial draft budget.
