We are very much looking forward to free and fair elections in Georgia,  – Norwegian Ambassador to Georgia Helene Sand Andresen told reporters.

The ambassador points out that many international observers have not arrived in the country this time.

“This increases the role of local observers, and we, as well as the Norwegian Embassy, ​​support Georgian Young Lawyers, as well as Transparency International and others. We will also join, along with other embassies, diplomatic observation of the election process. We obviously can not replace local professionals, but we will follow their methodology and try to see that the elections are free and fair, ” – said the Norwegian ambassador.
