Nodar Kinkladze appointed director of Penitentiary Establishment No. 8

The Special Penitentiary Service has released details regarding today’s personnel changes. According to the agency, Ramaz Pirtskhalava has been relieved of his post as director of Penitentiary Establishment No. 8.

“Ramaz Pirtskhalava, Director of Penitentiary Establishment No. 8, has been dismissed from his post. Nodar Kinkladze, who until now served as Director of Laituri Penitentiary Establishment No. 1, has been appointed to succeed him as Director of Penitentiary Establishment No. 8.

These personnel decisions were executed by decree of the Director General of the Special Penitentiary Service, with the approval of the Minister of Justice of Georgia,” the statement read.
