“We are launching a nationwide ‘Georgia Deserves Better’ campaign,” declared one of the leaders of the Opposition Alliance, Nika Gvaramia, at the demonstration outside the Georgian Parliament building.

According to Gvaramia, this campaign must culminate in fresh, democratic elections.

“This campaign must be concluded with new democratic elections; Bidzina Ivanishvili and his shameful anti-Georgian regime must be consigned to the dustbin of history. Yes, Georgia deserves better. I wish to greet the invisible attendees of this rally: the Georgian political prisoners, each and every one of them, those imprisoned in 2023, those imprisoned in 2024, those imprisoned in 2025, those of the October 4, everyone who is a patriot and who is serving an unjust sentence for the sake of Georgia. I want to extend my greetings to the invisible attendees of this rally: the Georgian emigrants who are, yes, standing here with us in spirit. They will be present in person once Bidzina Ivanishvili is no longer in this country. And finally, I wish to greet you, the future of this country, the finest sons and daughters of this land,” declared Nika Gvaramia.
