New method of testing to be introduced in First University Clinic

The GeneXpert method has been already tested. In our clinic, the suspicions cases of coronavirus infection will be tested through this method only among those patients who need hospitalization,” – the director of the First University Clinic, Levan Ratiani, stated.

As Ratiani noted, theGeneXpert method will not have mass character, it will be used only among clinic patients as a diagnostic tool.

“This is a unique method. The probability of mistake is minimized since the human factor is excluded in testing”, – Levan Ratiani added.
