New program for accessibility to medical treatment to refer to about 40 thousand patients diagnosed with cancer
The new program about increase of accessibility to medical treatment will refer to about 40 thousand patients diagnosed with cancer.
The list of medicines for cancer patients will be expanded within the framework of General Health Program, and the annual limit allocated for medicines will be increased by 8 thousand GEL.
The Georgian government will expand the program for medication of patients with oncology diseases – Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said during the sitting of Cabinet of Ministers today.
Based on the initiative of Health Ministry, the government will allocate additional 8 thousand GEL for medical treatment of every patient with oncology disease.
