New deployment of Georgian soldiers leaves for NATO peace mission in Afghanistan

Georgian soldiers of I Infantry Brigade left for the NATO-led mission Resolute Support Mission (RSM) in Afghanistan, announced the Ministry of Defence of Georgia.

Georgian soldiers of the I Infantry Brigade will replace the II Infantry Brigade Reinforced Company.

The main mission of the Georgian peacekeepers is to secure the safety of the military base in Kabul.
