NEA: Intermittent precipitation, heavy rains expected in East Georgia on July 11-13

Intermittent precipitation, heavy rains expected in East Georgia from the second half of July 11 till the morning of July 13.

According to the National Environment Agency, heavy rains, thunderstorms, hailstorms and strong winds are possible in Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Kakheti regions.

Heavy precipitation may cause swelling of small rivers and formation-activation of the land sliding processes in the mountainous areas of the country (threat level – medium), the NEA warned.
