Natia Turnava, President of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), participated in a strategic working meeting organized by the Banking Association of Georgia, bringing together representatives from the country’s leading commercial banks.

During the discussions, attendees examined critical issues such as the current state of the banking sector, access to financing, open banking regulations, competitiveness, the Tax Code, consumer rights, and future development plans.

President Turnava emphasized that such engagements with banking and financial sector stakeholders are vital for enhancing access to finance for consumers and driving economic growth.

NBG Vice Presidents Ekaterine Galdava and Nino Jeladze, along with department heads and managers from various commercial banks attended the meeting.
