NBG Acting President participates in CEEI Conference Panel Discussion
Natia Turnava, Acting President of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) participated in a panel discussion held within the framework of the Conference on European Economic Integration (CEEI).
Addressing the participants, the NBG Acting President underscored that speeding up the integration of the bank’s financial services into the EU market was a priority.
Natia Turnava remarked that Georgia achieved significant financial stability and sustainable economic growth.
“Georgia’s economic growth went up to 7.8% last year. According to our prognosis, the economic growth this year will reach 8.5%. We resisted inflation in early 2023, and currently, the inflation is lower than the target 3% rate,” she said.
The annual conference organized by the Austrian Central Bank was dedicated to European economic integration.
