Natural disaster elimination works going on in Kakheti

Works in the elimination of the damage inflicted to the eastern Kakheti region following the strong wind are underway.

Forty-two subscribers have been restored electricity supply. The municipality will cover expenses for the restoration of roofs.

“Our government’s aim is not to leave any local under the open air for New Year,” said Kakheti Governor Giorgi Aladashvili.

The December 28 strong wind uprooted trees, stripped off roofs from houses and damaged electricity lines in Kakheti. The commission set up at the municipality is calculating the damage.
