The sitting of Military Committee of North-Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on January 16-17.

Military Heads of member states of the alliance and representatives of partner countries – Georgia and Ukraine – will participate in the sitting. General Petr Pavel will head up the sitting.

Challenges on the south wing of the alliance will be the main topic for discussions. The military committee of NATO assembles twice per year to consider military operations and missions of the alliance.
