National Environment Agency: Georgia to expect cold weather until January 24

Georgia will expect cold weather and frost till January 24, the National Environment Agency (NEA) reported.

Mostly dry and cold weather is expected in Tbilisi with the air temperature of +2,+6 degrees during daytime, and -2,-6 degrees at night.

It will be raining in the coastline regions (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Posi) on January 21 and 23. The air temperature will reach +8,+10.

Rain is in the weather forecast in western regions (Zestaphoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti). It will be snowing in the mountainous zones of west Georgia (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Mestia, Bakhmaro and Rikoti Pass).

Cold but dry weather is forecasted in the eastern regions of Shida Kartli and Kakheti. The air temperature in the mountainous regions (Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo) will drop to -8, -13 at night, with -1, -6 during daytime.
