NAEC issues updated handbook for secondary university admissions
The National Assessment and Examinations Centre (NAEC) informed the public that applicants in Georgia can participate in the secondary university enrollment process and select their preferred educational programmes from 11:00 on 14 September until 18:00 on 18 September 2026.
To assist prospective students during the selection period, NAEC has published an updated digital directory titled Handbook for Applicants.
“The handbook contains comprehensive information regarding educational programmes offered by higher and vocational institutions, as well as available admission quotas.
To select their programmes between 14 September and 18 September, applicants must visit the registration portal at www.online.naec.ge, select the banner marked ‘Unified National Examinations – Secondary Admissions’, log in using their personal identification number and existing password, and submit their chosen study options.
When making their selections, applicants should take careful account of:
- The minimum competency threshold set by institutions for each subject;
- The number of available places on each programme;
- Tuition fees;
- The city or town where the programme is delivered.
Applicants should select their preferred bachelor’s and vocational degree options based on their performance in the 2026 Unified National Examinations.
Those eligible to participate in secondary admissions include applicants who passed the minimum competency threshold in every required subject during the 2026 Unified National Examinations but did not secure a place, as well as candidates who failed to meet the threshold for higher education but successfully passed the required standard for vocational study programmes,” the official statement read.
