The Municipal Development Fund of the Infrastructure Ministry announced a tender for the reconstruction of 14 public schools. As a result of the project’s implementation, the schools will serve approximately 8 thousand pupils both in Tbilisi and the regions.

The schools to be reconstructed are located in Tbilisi, Gori, Samtredia, Tskaltubo, Zugdidi, Mestia, Sachkhere, Zestaphoni, Sagarejo, Akhaltiskhe, Gardabani, Telavi and Chiatura Municipalities.

The agreements provide for an assessment of the condition of school buildings and the preparation of detailed renovation plans based on expert opinions, which include the complete rehabilitation of the buildings and, if necessary, their reinforcement.

The reconstruction works include renovation of infrastructure, improvement of engineering communications, reconstruction of ventilation, heating and water supply systems, arrangement of a safe environment and arrangement of outdoor territories.
