Tbilisi Mtatsminda Park hosted the New Wine Festival within the framework of the state program for the popularization of Georgian wine on the local market.
The National Wine Agency in collaboration with the Georgian Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture held the event for the second consecutive year. Exhibitions, contests and festivals organized throughout the country aim to boost wine tourism and wine consumption culture.
Approximately 170 wines from the 2024 harvest of small, medium and large producers were showcased at the Festival. The event traditionally started with the opening ceremony of a Qvevri.
