MP Rati Ionatamishvili: Nine opposition parties have eight voters; this is curious reality
“Nine opposition parties have eight voters; we are dealing with something akin to this curious reality,” MP Rati Ionatamishvili, Chairman of the Parliamentary Human Rights Protection Committee, told the GPB First Channel.
According to him, they claim there are nine parties, but in reality, there is the United National Movement.
However, the number of UNMs is irrelevant, as they are completely bankrupt. Back in 2012, society decisively rejected them, and this rejection has only grown stronger over time. We have become convinced that a UNM signifies a homelandless entity. Scenarios conceived abroad simply do not work in Georgia, particularly because they lack the diligence to do their homework properly. So, they will just bring another autumnal plan,” added Rati Ionatamishvili.
