MP Macharashvili: Marta Kos voices Eurocracy’s stance: confront Russia, China, and the US, surrender sovereign rights, and only then join

“What right-minded nation or people would resolve to join any union when told to pick fights with the world’s three greatest powers?” asked MP Guram Macharashvili, Executive Secretary of the People’s Power party.

Macharashvili made these remarks in response to recent declarations by EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, who asserted that candidates seeking EU accession must sever ties with Donald Trump’s MAGA movement to secure membership.

According to Macharashvili, Kos is voicing the European bureaucracy’s core position.

“Marta Kos is giving voice to the position of the European bureaucracy, telling us: ‘Confront the Russians, confront China, confront the United States, and after that, we will strip you of all your sovereign rights before admitting you.’

What right-minded nation or people would resolve to join any alliance when instructed to pick fights with the three most powerful nations on earth? Among them is the United States, our strategic partner, with whom we have taken deliberate steps recently to restore our partnership. She tells us to confront the movement founded by the current President of the United States. This is precisely the underlying message: if you want in, enter as a slave, or you will not be admitted at all.

What People’s Power argued years ago has now essentially been admitted by Marta Kos; the only difference being that they used to say it behind closed doors, and now they declare it openly. Consider Iceland, where the state and the vast majority of society determined they no longer wished to join the European Union,” Macharashvili stated.
