MP Levan Makhashvili: Opposition Alliance lacks public support, leading to concealment and silent actions to hide its falsehoods
According to MP Levan Makhashvili, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on European Integration, the parties comprising the so-called Opposition Alliance do not enjoy public support.
Makhashvili remarked that representatives of the Opposition Alliance conduct their meetings in closed sessions precisely to prevent the true nature of the alliance’s deceit from being exposed.
“They have no support within society, which is quite understandable. They have squandered the public trust they once held through politically incorrect and flawed decisions. Instead of prioritising their own country and its people, they have aligned themselves with others’ interests. Their support has vanished. To put it mildly, this is why they resort to inconveniences, hiding, operating quietly and secretly, in an attempt to conceal the falsehoods surrounding this so-called alliance. We can make daily political statements and assessments, but frankly, it’s unnecessary. It only gives these individuals too much importance. If they still wish to meet with someone, then so be it; let them do that. But in reality, this also demonstrates that they do not have the backing of the public,” Makhashvili stated.
