MP Irakli Zarkua: EU leadership is dominated by a Soviet-style Nomenklatura seeking to dictate how we live
“The likes of Kubilius, Anna Fotyga, Raisa ‘the Communist’, and Marta Kos, the leadership of the European Union today is populated by a Soviet-style Nomenklatura that wants to dictate to us how we ought to live,” declared MP Irakli Zarkua, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Diaspora and Caucasus Issues.
Zarkua asserted that the EU bureaucracy has lost all sense of direction and now mirrors the Soviet Union through its aggressive posture, rigid policies, and arm-twisting tactics.
“They dictate to us who we are permitted to speak with and where we can engage in business activities, warning us not to cooperate with the United States, or with partners to the North or South. We are expected to cooperate exclusively with those who actively orchestrate revolutions against us here.
Just imagine: the Kubiliuses, Anna Fotygas, Raisa ‘the Communist’, and Marta Koses – this is the Soviet Nomenklatura presiding over the European Union today, and this Soviet-style Nomenklatura presumes to prescribe how we should live and breathe. The entire affair is sickening and completely unacceptable,” Irakli Zarkua stated.
